Hi HN,

I’m Amber, product designer, founder and someone who’s tried pretty much every productivity app out there. I always loved setting goals, but I kept getting frustrated by how disconnected everything felt. Long-term goals lived in Notion, habits were in a habit app, daily tasks in another and I constantly lost sight of the bigger picture.

So I decided to build something I wished existed: Griply - a goal planner that connects your vision, goals, habits, and tasks into one system.

We started as a native iOS app and later added Mac, Windows, and Web. After getting lots of feedback from users (many switching over from Things 3 or Todoist) that they were doing their real planning on desktop, we decided to make a bit of a pivot and put all our focus on the desktop app. That led to our biggest update yet.

We built Griply 3.0: Calendar, Goal Roadmap, and Time Blocking in just ~6 weeks (I love working in a small passionate team!).

I know there are A LOT of productivity tools out there and I’ve used them all. The difference is that Griply is completely goal-oriented.

Everything is organized around your life areas (like health, career, relationships, etc.), and your long-term vision is connected to your actual day-to-day actions.

It all starts with why (for the Simon Sinek lovers ;)) - why you want to do what you do each day. Griply helps you keep that perspective while tracking measurable progress on what really matters.

The structure looks like this: life areas → vision → goals → habits/tasks → calendar/daily planner

---

What’s new in 3.0:

- Goal Roadmap: Plan goals across months or years

- Time Blocking: Schedule time for goals and life areas, not just tasks

- Built-in Calendar: With Google Calendar integration (working on Outlook and iCal)

- Daily Planner: Organize your day around what matters most

- Fully redesigned Desktop App for Mac, Windows & Web

---

You can explore the app for free and on the v3 launch page there’s a video where I go over all the details of the new version: https://griply.app/v3

We’re fully bootstrapped and have been building this with real users from day one. Would love any (honest) thoughts, feedback, or critiques.

Thanks so much!
